The cable is an alternative cheap diagnosis tool for expensive service tools used In service stations. The cable was made for easy to use and at the other hand to give you a wide range of home made tests of your car for a low cost investments. All you need is the cable and the PC unit (notebook recommended). The cable does not need any high class PC, just old one will do. Only one COM port is needed and PENTIUM class PC.

Here is what you can do with the cable:

You can carry out full test of all electronic systems while connected to diagnostic OBD2 socket in your car. The cable has a three positioned switch for choosing three test groups of your car. They are nr.3;7;12. It depends on which one you choose (the software will tell you about) you will be able to test ENGINE;BODY:AIRBAG;ABS;INSTRUMENTS etc.You will be even able to correct mileage of your car if needed.The three positioned switch has an advantage of interferences resist oposite the multipexer (used instead in this place) and is simple to use.
